Morning Commute – Earth Day 2021

Another beautiful morning for a ride in to work. Really tried to take it nice and easy because I want some legs left over for the ride home tonight and a big ride tomorrow. Looking at the numbers I was pretty fast, but didn’t use much power to do it so I’m hopeful I’m in the clear.

Seeing that today is Earth Day, I thought it would be as good a day as any to reflect on one of the three reasons why I commute and the impact it’s had. Since I’ve started commuting, and not including today, I’ve made 67 commute trips which has kept approximately 2,300 pounds of CO2 out of the atmosphere. I know it isn’t much, but every little bit counts.
