Half a Hammer for Tom

There were some seriously fast, seriously strong people out this morning for the Tom Trauger memorial ride. I had planned on riding the entire 75-mile route as advertised, but quickly realized that wasn’t going to happen. Wasn’t even upset to have gaps open up or get dropped going up Blue Diamond to the first regroup at the Chevron.

After the Chevron went out and did the Blue Diamond loop before heading back to Mothership coffee. Despite the solemn reason for going out, it was nice to spend some time riding with the locals. Makes you appreciate them even more.
