Slow and steady wins the race. Unless, of course, it’s actually a race.

With the weather forecast calling for temps in the 105+ range, I had to get out early to put in the miles before the worst of it set in. Also had a breakfast date with the family before my daughter’s riding lessons. Add to that the fact I missed my regular “every other day” ride on Friday I really wanted to get this one in.

Overall the ride went well. Surprised to get back and see a PR for the climb up to the former Sloan Canyon Visitor Center. Saw a several folks out riding this morning including a few groups. Everyone trying to get the miles in early.
