Morning Commute – 2020.12.07

On Friday, I took the time to load up with stuff for the office on my drive in. Brought clothes, food, and water. This reduced the amount of stuff I needed to bring from two panniers to a small backpack. That means I get to ride the Domane to work this week.

This morning things were ridiculously fast for what felt like next to no effort. I mean my previous fastest morning ride was on 10/20 and it was a total of 739kJ of work at 19.4 MPH and today was only 614kJ of work at 19.6 MPH. Yeah a lighter bike definitely makes a difference. Also I feel a ton better rolling into the office. Not nearly as tired. Looking forward to what the return trip holds.
