Morning Commute – 2021.02.09

I slept like garbage last night. Tossed, turned, and woke up every couple hours. When it was time to get up I lay there coming up with excuses to continue laying there: “I put in big miles this weekend.“, “My legs are burnt out.“, “My arms are sore.“, etc. Despite all those excuses, I forced myself up and started my morning routine.

Once I was on the bike, and got the first mile done, I started waking up. By mile five, I was fully awake and had a smile on my face. I was hooting and hollering at mile fifteen. I rolled up to the office feeling energized and ready to start my day.
