Commute Loop – 2022.01.10

Sadly no riding this weekend. Much of Saturday was spent hanging with the family. Started with breakfast and some errands before heading to the DMV for the kiddo’s driving test. She passed but not before thinking she’d failed during the review with the tester. That left little time for bike maintenance so that was pushed to Sunday and it took nearly all day and an emergency visit to Swanny’s to fix the rear shifter.

I had a doctor’s appointment first thing this morning, and he cleared me to only visiting once a year instead of twice a year. Crazy what eating a little better and regular exercise will do for your health.

After the appointment, I hung out at the house for a bit before eventually heading in to work. Ride in was uneventful really just felt weird with how much more traffic was on the road. Also some of the light patterns were different than what I’m accustomed to when I typically ride in. Was nice to ride in without so many layers.

Ride home was also pretty vanilla. Was a little chilly here and there, but overall not terrible.
