Commute Loop – 2023.10.12

It’s funny how today was another live by the tailwind, die by the headwind kind of day. Similar to Tuesday, but in opposite.

During the ride to work I was dealing with a headwind. Thankfully it wasn’t too bad, but it was certainly noticeable. The wind remained out of the north, but shifted westward for the ride home. This made the ride down Flamingo to Mountain Vista a little more of a chore than usual, but it wasn’t awful by any imagination.

Pretty happy with the KOM I nabbed for the Hacienda Bump. I will say that I should probably report the segment because to get a decent time you need to get both the Polaris Ave and Luxor Dr lights green. I got lucky hitting both lights green, but I have had the temptation many times to blow through the Luxor Dr light due to the south side being a parking lot exit versus a through road.
