LTF Friyay & Breakfast Commute – 2024.09.20

You know summer is nearly over when Lifetime Fridays are nearing an end. Mindy shared this morning that next week would be the last until next year. Despite these rides being tough at times I’m certainly going to miss them. If you don’t push yourself to go faster, you’ll never get faster.

Decent morning ride. Felt really good on both the Olivia Heights and Somersworth climbs and pretty stoked that I hit and maintained the power numbers I was shooting for. Post-breakfast I kept things chill aiming for a smooth Z2 ride into the office.

Leaving campus it looked like I was getting lucky and missing any rain in the area. Most of the nastier looking storm clouds were well to the north. Took it nice and easy sticking with the Z2 theme until I got onto Eastern at Pecos Ridge. From there went hard until Sun City Anthem Drive. Then pushed again on the Somersworth climb.

All in all great day at the office and on the bike. Have a nice chill evening ahead of me before crashing out early. Breakfast ride tomorrow with extra credit before and after.
