More fun then a sack of hammers

Couldn’t have asked for a better morning for a recovery and remembrance ride. I really soaked it in rolling along Town Center while looking east into the valley while soft pedaling. It made me nostalgic for my tour last year. The vibes were very similar.

Had a chance to ride with Shannon Weldon for a short bit and Boots as well. I was with the main group until the turn around at the end of the lakes. I wasn’t in the mood to put in any type of effort and just fell back as the group rode away. Eventually caught a red light and I was on my own, for the most part, for most of the ride back. It doesn’t matter because I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Once I was back at Pedal & Pour, I changed, got Shadow squared away, and then went inside to visit with everyone who had shown up. I’d guess I was there for a little over an hour before it was time to meet up with the wife for breakfast.
