When Boots asks if you want to ride, you say yes. If I’m being totally honest, if she hadn’t asked me to ride I would have remained at home all day glued to the couch. In typical fashion though I never regret going out once it’s all said and done. Today was an exercise in calling audibles with the only concrete destination being Pedal & Pour. At one point Boots even said, “Let’s go to your work” and while tempting we opted for west Hacienda instead. After making a few laps around The Lakes we made a b-line for Pedal & Pour. After a coffee and pastry break we headed for home so Boots could make her dinner date with her kids before they head out of town.

Absolutely great riding weather today with summer bibs, summer base layer, and long sleeve thermal jersey. Perfect combination for the day.
