Another bone standard commute loop in the books. Excited to be able to ride in summer kit and not have to tack on a bunch of layers only to lug them home in a backpack at the end of the day.
Took the opportunity to tinker with my Garmin profiles, and I think I like the minor changes I’ve made. I swapped Speed and Power as the main metric for commutes. It should make it a little easier to remember to take it easier. Conversely, I setup my interval profile to show only Power. This should allow me to see what power I’m at so I don’t fall short when pushing out a segment. Meh we’ll see, but it worked out pretty well on today’s rides.
