The day started great with an amazing breakfast with amazing company. I was joined by the entire Moose clan, Jeff and Michelle, and my entire family making for a large group of eight! I had a great time visiting with all of them.
The ride home got started much later than I’d hoped. One of the computers in one of my classrooms was throwing errors when trying to do an installation. Some deep research into the error indicated it could be a memory issue. I performed a memory test with a third party utility and it failed before the halfway mark. Despite this the onboard diagnostics said the memory was fine.
I thought my third party test would be enough for the technicians but I was wrong. That is when I thought a quick 15-minute call to the vendor turned into a multi-hour, multi-chat nightmare. After the first technician I had hoped I would get them again just so I could prove them wrong after they pushed back so hard against what I was telling them. Sadly I wouldn’t get them again, no surprise, but I did eventually get the replacement parts in the mail and headed my direction.
Leaving campus at 7:30 I think is the latest I’ve ever left before on the bike. When I got to Coronado Center I started considering my route options to get me home the quickest. I opted to revert to my old route home instead of working my way up Coronado Center to Eastern. I will say that riding along Anthem Pkwy reminded me of why I updated my routing in the first place.
