Morning Commute – 2021.04.12

Had to take a break from riding after Wednesday’s ride home. Right knee was a wreck and there was no way I was riding anywhere. Thankfully it feels much improved this morning, but the real test will be the ride home tonight. Getting old sucks.

Ride in felt really good and my stats seem much closer to normal than last Wednesday. I failed to do a power meter calibration on Wednesday and I think that’s what skewed my numbers. Power is still down overall, but that’s to be expected with nearly three weeks off the bike. Normally I would be looking forward to a ride in tomorrow, but the kiddo has an appointment and can’t overlook the forecast 20+ MPH SW winds.
