You could also call this Tour de Madeira Canyon.
I’d already skipped any type of recovery on Saturday and Sunday due to the high winds, so wasn’t thrilled when the morning news was talking more wind throughout the day. Refusing to go another day without a ride I drummed up this route as something quick, fun, and relatively easy to log some miles.
Felt really good to be back in the saddle. The past few days I’ve had some pain along the inside of my thighs down to the knee. Thankfully it was no problem on the bike. Plenty of short quick climbs on this one to help get the heart and legs going and throwing in “Democracy 2nd Half” contributed to that as well.
Will be revisiting this ride for more tweaking to try to minimize overlap. Definitely want to keep a segment I may call “Lacing the Shoelaces” and “Democracy 2nd Half”.
