Made the conscious effort to dial it back this morning. Still made it to work in under an hour which is still a pretty good clip.
It’s hard to explain, but there are different levels and types of enjoyment between a slower ride like today and a fast ride like the previous two days. On the fast ride you finish and you’re just rung out, but there’s some satisfaction knowing you put in a monster effort. On the slow ride you get to enjoy the surroundings, smell the roses as it were.
