Morning Commute – 2021.08.19

Absolutely beautiful morning for a ride despite the poor air quality. Dare to say it was almost chilly to start.

After taking the last two days off due to forecast high winds in the evenings, I was itching to get back in the saddle. Late last night I had thought of just calling it a week and driving in again today, but I’m glad I chose otherwise. Legs were feeling pretty punchy especially along Pecos after I caught each and every light between Coronado Center and Warm Springs green. Was really pushing it, and I’m sure my legs will remind me later.

Now back to another stressful day of work getting everything ready for the start of a new academic year.
