Commute Loop – 2022.02.03

Rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated.

I’d mentioned taking a few days off, 3 specifically, but mother nature had other plans. Honestly, Wednesday was the first day I woke up with my legs feeling normal. The days leading up to that; however, they were in complete tatters. A wind advisory greeting me on Wednesday morning meant riding in wasn’t in the cards.

Felt pretty good today. Wouldn’t say I’m back to 100%, but good enough for some commuting miles. Both rides were pretty uneventful. Ride in felt a little slow riding against a head wind, and the ride home felt slow because I’m just tired. It’s all good though. As I told the wife when I got settled in the office, “I needed that!”

Now for a nice chill evening before another trip down to breakfast before heading on to work.
