Commute Loop – 2022.02.23

Kinda crazy that the temperature coming home was pretty much the same as when I left in the morning. Yeah it was a chilly one that’s for sure.

Ride in was pretty nice once I’d made it to LVB. Was fighting a decent cross wind the entire length of Volunteer. Having the rear bag on and filled with clothes I’m sure didn’t help things any. Once I made that turn onto LVB though it was smooth sailing. Nice tailwind to take me nearly all the way to work. Remember looking down at my computer, seeing 35+ MPH, and just smiling to myself.

Really wish the winds would have turned more out of the north like was forecast this morning. They were definitely more out of the SW and W than anything. Remember checking out a flag at Pecos and Windmill and it was definitely showing a stiff WSW to SW wind. Should have known better than to expect a tailwind on both part of my ride. Oh well maybe next time.
