Only a half commute today.
I was on north bound on Gilespie and stopped at the Silverado Ranch light. When I got the green and started rolling I heard a awful grinding coming from the rear. Pulled off onto the side walk and pulled the rear wheel. Found that the rear pads were worn to the point return spring had caught on the disc and bent it out of shape. Thankfully I had my multi-tool with me and was able to get it back into shape.
Rode the rest of the way in using on the front brake to play it safe. Will be calling up the kiddo to pick me up this afternoon. Last thing I want is to be needing to make an emergency stop and not have enough braking power.
