Commute Loop – 2022.10.27

Another beautiful day another nice commute. I was a little nervous leaving the house this morning after watching the weather forecast. The morning news was talking about 20+ MPH winds all day and looking out my back window all the trees were dancing.

Thankfully I avoided the worst of the winds both on the way in and on the way back. Did have a couple white knuckle moments along the most exposed parts of Anthem Parkway. Just dialed it back some, squeezed the top tube with my knees, and powered through.

Did have the Garmin lock up again just before I turned onto Sunset. Second time in as many weeks. I’m surprised that my route wasn’t more corrupted. Since my HRM is new I swapped out the battery in my speed sensor in hopes of preventing future lock ups. Time will tell.

Looking forward to the three day weekend and breakfast out in the morning!
