Commute Loop – 2022.12.01

That was a doozy of a ride home. For such a short ride I’m exhausted.

While I’m on the subject, the ride home was tiresome to say the least. Lots and lots of wind out of the south. Was getting tossed around pretty good here and there. Almost went over to Williamsport to avoid the ridge line along Anthem Pkwy, but bit the bullet and stuck with Anthem. Thankfully it all worked out without issue.

What motivates a person to yell an obscenity at a random person for absolutely no reason? I was traveling east along Wigwam, entered the center turn lane, and made a left into a neighborhood. Not long after I hear someone yell from their car, “Faggot!”. Now if I’d obstructed someone, cut them close, or something like that I might understand, but I was probably 30-60 feet in to the neighborhood. Just bizarre.

On a more positive note, the ride in this morning was beautiful. I rolled out of the house and noticed some orange in the sky to the east. I raced over to Solera Sky and stopped to snap a pic. Great way to start the day. Later, while logging some Wandrer miles, I spotted some HUGE Transformer statues on the side of the road. I had to stop and snap a pic of those too! Love discovering cool new stuff during my commutes.
