What is this cul-de-sac doing in the middle of nowhere?
Weather was looking moody up in the mountains the entire day. Thankfully it held off for me.
Cold brew, Cinnamon Pull Apart Roll, and a banana. What more could a cyclist ask for?
GNATS!
This spot alone is worth the trip down.
So salty.
Yeah I’m a salty boy.
What no Gatorade? Sure I guess a Cherry Coke will do.
Starting my Friday proper with a balanced breakfast including a pre- and post- spin. Still loving this bike after two years of ownership and over 11,000 miles.
One of the advantages of being a cyclist and commuting is having one more thing to look forward to at the end of a long day/week. Happy Friday everyone and have a great weekend. To all my cycling brothers and sisters keep them down this weekend.
Pre-ride breakfast of champions. Oatmeal loaded with pecans, walnuts, raisins, dried cranberries, and honey. Whole wheat Dave’s Good Seed toast with strawberry jam. Glass of milk and iced coffee.
Quick selfie while I wait for the rest of the group to show up.
Nice shot looking west from Anthem Hills Park.
Part of the Anthem Hills Park Posse waiting for the fourth member before riding on to Pebble Marketplace.
This little bastard was in my tire!
I passed this by last time I was in the area. Made it a point to stop to grab this pic. Huge Bill and Ted fan!
Top of the San Gabriel River Trail. It’s all downhill to the beach from here.
Someone once told me to grab a wheel whenever you can.
Look ma no hands!
Gotta support the local joints. I discovered this place last time I was down when I asked someone where the coffee is at. Couldn’t get a shirt then because I had no where to put it. Not a problem this time.
When you roll over 100 miles and then remember you still have 30 more to go.
The look when you roll over 100 miles and then remember you still have 30 more to go.
When you’re desperate for a convenience store buy they ain’t got the Zingers you want. Just have to improvise. But hey at least they has a nice bench out front!
