Commute Loop – 2024.01.08

Today was one of those days where I kinda felt like Job from the bible. You know the story where God and Satan go back and forth with Job’s life? For me, it was Mother Nature and the Cycling Gods going at it, especially in the morning. The morning was cold, probably the coldest to date. Adding insult to injury the winds were out of the north, so headwind all the way to work. Yeah Mother Nature had it in for me today. Then the Cycling Gods stepped in and gave me more than my fair share of green lights.

The Cycling Gods continued to bless me on the way home with more green lights. Not sure what happened to Mother Nature as I had a decent tailwind as well. Maybe she relented and decided to show me some love as well?
