Breakfast Commute – 2024.01.12

Had a great visit over breakfast with Josh Westerman this morning. I love when someone takes me up on a breakfast invite. The only bummer is having to leave to continue on to work. Would prefer to hang out and chit chat over coffee for the entire day. Something to look forward to in retirement?

It’s interesting how much more I notice time and the seasons passing because I’m commuting. As I stopped at the light on the corner of Pecos and Warm Springs, I looked to my right and thought, “Hey there is still color in that sky.” We’ve passed the Winter Equinox maybe a month ago, but I actually noticed the light being a little more persistent only this evening. Before I know it I’ll be complaining about slathering myself in sunscreen before leaving the office.
