Breakfast Commute – 2024.03.08

A nice chill ride to cap off a week of commuting. Besides, I have to save the legs for the group ride tomorrow. All the heavy hitters are coming out with their new bikes.

I was a little concerned about the construction and lane closures near St. Rose and Paseo Verde. Thankfully it wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I was able to get through on the sidewalk/trail without issue.

Made a decent amount of scratch today. Most of it came from along Pecos on the way home. Flipped around twice to go back for some coins and found three coins in a bunch between Wigwam and Pebble.

Loving the warmer temperatures in the afternoon. Get to ride home in pretty much summer kit with a warmer baselayer. Wish the temperature swings would even out so I didn’t have to carry so much thermal stuff home. Then again not going to look a gift horse in the mouth! I certain appreciate the nice weather.
