A solid Monday’s worth of riding if I do say so myself. I hit some of my favorite stretches of road hard and was feeling good until I hit something big on Pecos just south of Pittman Wash. It was another case of hitting something large enough that I was fairly certain I’d be stopping for a flat. Soon enough the front went down. I got stopped ok and ten minutes later I was off and riding again.
Without another tube or CO2 I choose to ride up Sunridge Heights to get into Anthem versus Eastern. I like Eastern because I can really push on the section between Reunion and Sun City Anthem Drive, but the surface before and through Reunion is absolute garbage and the last thing I needed was another flat. Thankfully it all worked out in the end and I got home without any additional issues.
