Evening Commute – 2020.09.17

Happy to report that I completed my first week of commuting and survived. For the week was honked at, yelled at, rev bombed, cheered at, and watched a few red lights get run. Overall not bad for the first week, and I’m looking forward to doing it all again.

Didn’t quite end the week on the high note like I’d hoped, but I’ll take what I can get. My previous commute on 8/6 was in similar conditions with slightly stronger wind but directly out of the south. I still managed to improve upon that time by eight minutes. Think it was a combination of heat, wind, and fatigue that did me in. Hopefully, as I continue to commute, my performance will improve.
