Ride on 2019.11.17

Beautiful late afternoon/early evening ride. Once again felt really good during this ride considering I did 15 miles the day before. Think this will be my new default 30+ mile ride. Like that I climb all the way to where the Union Pacific Rail Road trail intersects the River Mountain…

Had a rather busy day today. The kiddo has her horseback riding lesson at 8:30. That was followed by brunch. We didn’t get back to the house until 11:30. Lexi got straight into the shower while I bought an extra UNLV football game ticket for today’s game. Picked up Lexi’s…

Nice steady ride this afternoon. Little later than normal. No real wind to speak of so this is a good baseline effort. Need to remember to eat something an hour or so before my rides. At the end of this one felt pretty famished and woozy.

Nice ride with some beautiful weather. Had a slight breeze out of the ENE at around 12 MPH. Made the eastern leg a little slower and tougher than normal but not nearly as bad as last week.

Tough ride. Winds were out of the southwest averaging 16 MPH with gusts up to 45. Going east along Paseo Verde was a breeze and quick with the tail wind. The return was tough especially the climb along American Pacific between Gibson and Stephanie.
