Evening Commute – 2020.10.27

Holy cow did the mercury drop fast this evening. When I left the office I was perfectly fine with shorts, jersey and base layer. By the time I was clearing Saint Rose I was hankering for some arm warmers. When I rolled up to the house I couldn’t get inside out of the cold quick enough. Sure Strava/Klimat says the temperate was around 68°F, but my Garmin recorded a low of 57.2°F. Definitely chilly.

Similar to this morning I took this evening’s ride home relatively easy. Certainly wasn’t aiming to break any personal records or anything like that. It was nice to roll up to the house and feel tired from the ride but not exhausted. Thinking these easier commutes may be here to stay.
