Morning Commute – 2021.06.10

Suffered a massive critical failure, power meter battery gave out around the halfway mark.

Ridiculously fast ride in today. Klimat showing 10-15 MPH winds while Garmin saying 25 MPH, but all in agreement that they were mostly out of the south. PRs and stupid high overall rankings on many of the segments along northbound Pecos north of the 215 prove it. Probably could have snagged the KOM on ‘Pebble to Robindale on Pecos’ if not for the car who cruised along in the bike lane after Pebble because they messed up the mandatory right turn. Would have felt kinda fake anyway.

Really hoping the winds shift to out of the northwest like Sherry forecast on the morning news or I’m going to be seriously boned when it comes to the commute home this afternoon.
