Commute Loop – 2022.01.18

Today’s commute is brought to you by the fine folks at SKS Germany and their RaceBlade Pro XL fenders.

Are you a cycling junking who doesn’t mind riding in the rain, but hate your backside looking like the business side of a diaper? Well fret no longer my cycling friends. SKS’s RaceBlade Pro XL fenders are the perfect accessory to get you out on the rainiest of days. They’ll keep your derriere looking as fresh as an infant straight from the bath.

No better way to test out a new pair of clip-on fenders than going for a rip in the rain. They worked great at keeping the tire spray to a minimum. Easy on and easy to adjust. Would highly recommend.

Ride in was nice even with the rain. Rain doesn’t bother me in the slightest. Love the smell of fresh rainfall. Wasn’t trying to set any records on the way in just took it easy. Have read horror stories of people riding Gatorskins in the rain. Add to that my new brakes sounding like train horn I felt it best to ride on the safe side. Thankfully everything went great and made it to work and home without issue.
