Commute Loop – 2022.03.21

Another chilly morning. Chilly enough to warrant throwing on the arm and leg warmers. I shouldn’t complain too much there’s reports of 90s in the near future.

Took a risk and chose to ride in today despite the weather forecast of high winds out of the north. Lucky for me the worst of the wind didn’t really kick in until after Silverado Ranch. Worst of it was as I was passing by the airport.

Was looking forward to a nice tail wind to take me home tonight. What tail wind there was, wasn’t enough to make too much of a difference. Any wind that isn’t a head wind is a good one though, so I’ll take it.

The week ahead is shaping up to be a busy one. Have to help out some co-workers over at the School of Medicine on Wednesday. Of course that means a longer than usual commute, but it won’t be nearly as hot as last year. On the other hand, I have to lug two pretty large 17″ laptops home tomorrow night and then to the school on Wednesday morning. Already have my panniers mounted up and ready to rock. Mini Pacific Coast dry run.

T-Minus 53 days until PCBR.
