This ride name is so clever.

Great day for a ride, unfortunately for me I had to cut the group portion of my ride a little short.

Leading up to today’s ride I’d bounced back and forth about going and not going on this ride. The kiddo had a horse show this afternoon and was scheduled to ride at 1:45. I went back and forth wondering if I could ride out to Callville Bay and back over to Mountain’s Edge in time. Looking at previous times I think it was possible, but I didn’t want to take any chances and disappoint my daughter.

Finally settled on the idea of meeting anyone coming over from Mountain’s Edge at Cactus and LVB, ride over to the scheduled start, ride with the group for a bit, and then head home. Plan worked out well with me getting in enough miles while balancing family life. Win win!

Not too much to report really. Met up with Caleb at Cactus and LVB as he was the only soul brave enough to ride over from Mountain’s Edge Park. Once we met up we pretty much noodled all the way over to Crafthaus. Don’t think we broke 200 watts except to climb Pecos just before
