Sunday Wandrer Recovery – 2022.09.25

Nice easy spin through the neighborhood for a recovery ride.

I spotted a pair of riders along Volunteer going my way, but I couldn’t tell who they were and I wasn’t going to push things to catch up to say hello. Gotta hang on to that zone 1 recovery action.

Was fighting the routing on the Garmin at first and then eventually gave up on it all together. In most cases the routing works great, but when I try to program these Wandrer rides things get tricky. Very frequently you’ll get a random notification to do a u-turn or other turn that you may not necessarily want to do. This is most frequent along stretches you need to ride more than once. For example, if you want to do a loop once and then exit the loop a second time with a right turn, sometimes the routing will continue to have you loop even though you need to turn right. Probably not a concern for most of you, but a minor annoyance to me.

Overall, feeling pretty good and looking forward to commuting during the week ahead.
