Everything I did brought me here.

Two rides in one weekend!?! What is going on??

I went into yesterday’s ride thinking it would be a slow noodle down to Jean and back. With that in mind I’d already planned on doing this Sunday ride. Worked it out with the little darling that I’d ride with GVC and then meet her for breakfast afterwards at 9:30. Also, lucky for me, this ride was listed as a Cat. A only ride so I could push the pace and, hopefully, no one would object and there wouldn’t be too many regroups.

Overall, the ride went great. Really went out there, put in some work today, and pushed the pace. Rotated off the front a few times when Joe, Mark, or Al decided I wasn’t going quick enough. Always a pleasure following those wheels.

One interesting note was when Mike Reiter’s plus one Dave rolled up next to me on Pebble. He couldn’t stop gushing about how great Las Vegas Blvd was. He was absolutely in love with the smooth asphalt and straight lines from St. Rose to Pebble. From where he’s from, across the pond, the roads are nothing but a pot holed twisty mess.
