Commute Loop – 2023.01.17

Happy to be back on the bike commuting today. Been bummed about the weather over the past couple days which left me stuck indoors, but my legs certainly appreciated it.

An hour before leaving work I was walking across campus and I was worried about riding home. The winds were picking up and it looked like rain in the south valley. When I got back to the office I checked the weather and radar forecasts and saw the winds were out of the northwest and there wasn’t any rain coming. Gave me a boost of confidence to ride home versus calling up the wife or kiddo to come get me.

Ride home was pretty chill with lots of extra Wandrer miles. Continuing to do my best to avoid all the construction going on. So far have been pretty successful while finding east and quiet roads to ride home on.
