Commute Loop – 2023.04.24 (DNF, Mechanical)

Well that sucked. Was feeling good after coming up soccer hill and crossing Anthem Hills Park before hitting Reunion. Just rolling through catching my breath and *POP* and rear tire goes completely flat. Give it a spin and find a nice inch long tear right along the edge of the rim. Sadly a boot (which I have) wouldn’t even fix it, and if it did I wouldn’t trust it to get me home. Oh well better here on a chill flat than later on the Solera Sky descent. Text the fam and thankfully the kiddo was at the house. Told her to grab the truck and come get me. Guess who’s making a trip to Swanny’s tomorrow?!? 🤣
