Commute Loop – 2023.10.24

Another solid commute with nothing terribly crazy or important to report. I did see a guy walking his bike along Horizon Ridge and I stopped to see if there was anything I could do for him. He was on an older mountain bike and needed a wrench to remove the rear tire. He asked if I had a pump and I didn’t. I told him we could try to air it up and see how far he could get since he was only going to work. I got out a CO2 and dumped the entire thing into his rear. The hope was that the “Fix-a-flat” he had put in the inner tube would seal and the CO2 would last long enough for him to get to his job. Once it was empty I told him to go for it and ride for as long as he could in the hopes that it would last.
