Commute Loop – 2024.02.21

With the threat of rain the fenders went on before leaving the house this morning. Thankfully it held off and I made it to work without issue. Absolutely love the wet weather. This morning it felt like NorCal with the high humidity and low clouds. Had a great ride in.

Ride home was nice. Was able to ride with only shorts and a long sleeve thermal jersey with a wool base layer. It was just about a perfect combination. When I first started rolling through campus I was worried it was just a touch on the cool side, but once I made it to Pecos and started south I warmed up quite nicely.

Was blessed with a banger of a sunset tonight. I have definitely noticed the sun hanging out for longer and longer each night along the way home. Soon enough I’ll be complaining about how hot it is on the way home. Until then I’m going to enjoy it while I can.

I’m very behind on my ride reports for the past three group rides and need to get those done. May get some time tomorrow to do some writing, but I’ll have to wait and see.
