I think your brain has a thick candy shell.

My wife will tell you I wasn’t a happy camper yesterday afternoon. As I mentioned yesterday, my new road bike was not living up to my expectations. So I spent hours working and tweaking it yesterday in an attempt to get it better and it just wasn’t happening. Combined with knowing all the LBSs are super busy right now just ratcheted up the frustration. Oh I forgot to mention I was dumb enough to work in the sweltering garage.

After dinner, I got on YouTube and started watching all the videos I could on disc brake and front and rear derailleur adjustments. I gathered up all that knowledge, brought my bike into the living room, and went to work. Having spent about three hours on tweaking this and adjusting that I’m finally happy with the results. Finally rides smooth, shifts like butter, and is a joy. Now to get out there for a full ride.
