Commute Loop – 2023.09.07

Another great commute logged. I had hesitations about riding in because my legs were feeling particularly sore, but I bit the bullet and did it anyway. I’m glad I did. The ride in was an absolute blast. I hit a ton of green lights along Las Vegas Blvd and caught a draft from a few vehicles. Overall just a blast.

The ride home came later than expected with work running late. Not necessarily a bad thing considering the warmer temperature. I was feeling pretty good, but I felt like I was fading around Pecos and Wigwam. Similarly to Tuesday’s commute my heart rate wasn’t as high or as responsive as it could have been, but my legs were also feeling sleepy. Poor things have been putting in some serious work this week.

I get a nice day off the bike on Friday. I’d considered riding in just for the fun of it, but I have groceries I need to get to the office and I don’t feel like doing it over the weekend. Honestly, it’s probably for the best so I have fresher legs for Saturday’s group ride.
